His articles are geared towards independent travellers, so if you stumbled across our site, but don’t need the ‘how to travel with kids’ part, you’ll definitely get more good tips from the Indie Traveller.

Similarly, Nomadic Matt provides lots of tips and insightful advice for those looking for adventure, but focuses on how to do it on the cheap. This one is a little different. Unlike some of the travel blogs you might find out there, this one isn’t written for the search engines. Mark loves travelling by train. We found this site while looking for details about a route we were planning through Vietnam. Mark provides incredibly detailed route information and packs his posts with schedules, price tables, various options between given locations and traveller’s reports, which provide insights from people who have used the routes and have up-to-date information to help make your trip easier.
